IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD
(John 17:14 I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world)

Some housekeeping regarding our stance on Perth's bid for the 2030 gay games

Our position on this altar is that Perth will not host the 2030 gay games.

Our stance is not born out of resistance to the Perth government's desire to elevate the city's visibility through hosting the event, nor is it a lack of compassion towards the gay community. Rather, it stems from a place of love and deep concern.

We believe that there are more constructive and restorative ways to support those who identify as gay — ways that affirm their dignity while addressing deeper needs. The current trajectory of the movement, shaped largely by social experimentation, appears to be producing outcomes that raise serious concerns about long-term societal wellbeing. It is from this place of prayerful conviction that we continue to seek what we believe is God's best for individuals and society alike.

Without delving into the broader societal arguments for or against gay inclusivity, we anchor our position on this altar in the timeless truth of Scripture. There are two key passages that provide clarity and conviction in our prayers:
1. Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.
2. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

One other point is that We do not need to be in Roger Cook's government (Premier, West Australia) to legislate what we want in the city of Perth. Our authority in Christ and our responsibility as watchmen over of our cities and territories give us the (locus standi) - interested parties in this matter.

1. Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.
2. Revelation 1:5-6 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

If you want to know God's will concerning gay then read these following two scriptures in your own time:
1. Romans 1:24–27  Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts... Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones... In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.... This passage outlines the departure from God's intended order, not to condemn individuals but to awaken hearts to the truth of His design and purpose.
2. 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 – Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral... nor men who have sex with men... will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified.... Here, Paul reminds believers of their past, and more importantly, of the transforming power of God's grace.

A prayer point against holding the game in Perth
Father, we ask for the harvest of more of God's light upon the city of Perth. We don't want darkness in this land.
Matthew 4:16 (NLT) The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.

Three inspiring Truths to share before we pray for ourselves and our families.
1. Your conviction is greater than the result
2. Your stay power is derived from knowing God

3. Every time you feel frustrated and confused, look up

Prayer Points:

 Prayer for ourselves and families

1. Father, I move in the power of your presence to collapse every contending altar or force standing against my lives and our families.

I Samuel 5:3-4 And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it.

2. Father, we ask that you bring an end to the wickedness of the wicked around our lives and our families.

Psalms 7:9 Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.

3. Father, we approach your throne for our supplies.

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
