Living for so much more
Mark 6:35-39
35.”When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late
36.Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.”
37.He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”
38.But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.’
John 6:9- There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
Even you will be amazed what Jesus can do with your 5 loaves and 2 fishes when you give it to Him.

Our weakness and disabilities reminds us of the brokenness and inherent weakness of our mortal bodies because of the fall.
The Outreach in Ghana was another opportunity to be reminded of our need and dependence on God’s grace.

2 Corinthians 12:9 -“ .. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Isaiah 40:29-31- “He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak. / Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. / But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
Romans 8:26 - “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.”
Psalms 73:26 - “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. / For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
