 UNTO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU.

Psalms 18:1-3
I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Psalms 46:1-5
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day."

Key scripture

Jude 1:24-25
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.

Jude 1:24-25

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

UNTO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU

1. Him who is able...”
This points to God’s ability—He is powerful enough to preserve His people in faith, and ultimately to present them blameless before His presence.
“Keep you from falling/stumbling” refers to spiritual failure or apostasy.

2. To present you blameless... with great joy”
God doesn’t just preserve you—He purifies you.
"With great joy" shows that our final salvation is not just secure, but joyous—for both us and God (see Zephaniah 3:17).

3. To the only God, our Saviour...”
He is our Savior, and that salvation is through Jesus Christ our Lord.

4. Doxology- Be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority...”
A fourfold praise of God’s supreme attributes:
Glory – His radiant presence and perfection.
Majesty – His greatness and splendor.
Dominion – His rule over all creation.
Authority – His ultimate right to govern all things.
5. “Before all time, now, and forever.”
God’s rule is eternal—past, present, and future.

The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,

But time and chance happen to them all.”
