Judges 6-7
🌳 Excuse 1: God has abandoned us
* Gideon’s Words: “If the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all His wonders that our ancestors told us about?” (Judges 6:13)
* Underlying Belief: God is absent when circumstances are hard.
🌳 Excuse 2: I am too weak
* Gideon’s Words: “Pardon me, Lord, but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” (Judges 6:15)
* Underlying Belief: Calling is limited by natural status, family background, or personal ability.
🌳 Excuse 3: I need proof before I believe
* Gideon’s Actions: He asked for repeated signs—the fire on the offering (Judges 6:21), the fleece wet/dry tests (Judges 6:36–40).
* Underlying Belief: Faith must be preceded by tangible evidence.
🌳 Excuse 4: Fear of People’s Opinion
* Gideon’s Actions: When commanded to tear down his father’s altar to Baal, he did it at night because he was afraid of his family and the townspeople (Judges 6:27).
* Underlying Belief: People’s approval and reaction carry more weight than God’s command.
🌳 Excuse 5: I am not enough, even with an army
* Gideon’s Hesitation: He struggled when God reduced his army from 32,000 to 300 (Judges 7:2–7).
* Underlying Belief: Victory depends on visible strength and numbers.

1: Counterfeit Wisdom vs. Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation
📖 Scripture: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” (Ephesians 1:17)
Counterfeit: Occult strategies, deceptive “inclusivity” philosophies, seductive messaging.
Prayer/Decree: Lord, release true wisdom and revelation over this city. We nullify every wisdom of darkness—turn their counsel into foolishness as You did Ahithophel. Let only Christ’s wisdom stand.
🌳 2: Counterfeit Enlightenment vs. Eyes of the Heart Enlightened
🔥 Scripture: “That the eyes of your understanding being enlightened…” (Ephesians 1:18)
Counterfeit: False enlightenment through pride, perverse education, and humanistic ideologies.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: We decree blindness over counterfeit lights that masquerade as truth. Let Christ’s light expose all hidden works of darkness.
🌳 3: Counterfeit Hope vs. True Hope of His Calling
📖 Scripture: “…that you may know what is the hope of His calling…” (Ephesians 1:18)
Counterfeit: Hope rooted in rebellion, identity distortion, and self-worship.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: Lord, dismantle every false hope of belonging that seduces this generation. Let the hope of Christ’s calling rise as a banner over our city.
🌳 4: Counterfeit Riches vs. Inheritance of the Saints
📖 Scripture: “…the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” (Ephesians 1:18)
Counterfeit: Wealth, sponsorships, and cultural capital fueling perversion.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: We dry up ungodly funding streams. Lord, redirect resources into Kingdom initiatives and righteous causes that glorify Your covenant.
🌳 5: Counterfeit Power vs. Resurrection Power
📖 Scripture: “…the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…” (Ephesians 1:19)
Counterfeit: Political influence, media manipulation, and occult empowerment.
Prayer/Decree: We decree that the resurrection power of Christ renders powerless every dark empowerment. Let the resurrection life swallow death-programs in this city.
🌳 6: Counterfeit Authority vs. Christ’s Exalted Authority
📖 Scripture: “…far above all principality and power and might and dominion…” (Ephesians 1:21)
Counterfeit: Thrones of cultural dominion, false rulers, and policies exalted against Christ.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: Lord Jesus, You are above all authority. We pull down counterfeit thrones and decree their decrees void. Establish Your Lordship.
🌳 7: Counterfeit Dominion vs. Dominion of the Church
📖 Scripture: “…and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body.” (Ephesians 1:22-23)
Counterfeit: Dominion through sports, entertainment, and cultural systems.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: We decree the rise of the Church in authority. Let the dominion of righteousness, truth, and holiness silence every counterfeit dominion.
🌳 8: Counterfeit Glory vs. Fullness of Christ
📖 Scripture: “…the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:23)
Counterfeit: Human glory, sensual celebrations, and idolatrous parades.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: Lord, let every man-exalting glory be eclipsed by the glory of Christ. We decree: the sound of heaven will override every counterfeit anthem.
🌳 9: Counterfeit Unity vs. Unity of the Spirit
📖 Scripture: “… endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:3)
Counterfeit: False unity built on rebellion against God’s design.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: We break false unity and alliances that strengthen darkness. Let the unity of the Spirit bind the saints together to prevail in intercession.
🌳 10: Counterfeit Identity vs. Identity in Christ
📖 Scripture: “…chosen in Him before the foundation of the world…” (Ephesians 1:4)
Counterfeit: Twisted identity narratives redefining creation, gender, and destiny.
🔥 Prayer/Decree: We silence every false identity narrative. Let the revelation of sonship and identity in Christ flood our generation.
