Kingdom Ranks and Commissioning
As we have established, our citizenship belongs to the new Kingdom. Having understood the Language, Literature, and Delicacies of the new Kingdom and being indoctrinated with it through the Holy Spirit, now it is time for us to be trained by the Holy Spirit and deployed in service for the King. As new citizens, you must first be taught about this new system before climbing the ranks and being trained to serve the Kingdom. Ranking officials are a direct representation of the King Himself, so the chief Kingdom official — the Holy Spirit Himself — ensures that appointed officials are experts on the basic systems of the Kingdom order: Language, Literature, and Delicacies. Ascension in the Spirit to a position with high-level security clearance to access the King's council requires consecration, background checks, competencies, and literacy of the said position.
Lets continue to unpacked the book of Daniel:
Daniel 1:5-6
5The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king's table. They were to be trained for three years, and after that they were to enter the king's service. 6Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 7The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.
The main purpose of this preparation was to consecrate them for deployment in service of the King. They were stripped of their status and ranks, and their names were changed. Although Babylon was a Godless kingdom, it carefully conditioned its new citizens for the King’s use. Similarly, for us who have been translated into the new Kingdom, the Holy Spirit provides all the wisdom we need to be deployed for the King’s service.
Process for Kingdom Rank:
1. Consecration
The four Hebrew boys were stripped of their status, ranks, and former lives and indoctrinated with the new Kingdom’s system and order. In our case, when we are translated from darkness to the Kingdom of Light, we are set apart — continually washed by the Word and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. This is a basic requirement to acquire security clearance for ascension in God’s Holy Mountain and access the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.
2 Timothy 2:21 (NIV)
"Those who cleanse themselves… will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work."
Matthew 5:8 (NIV)
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
Matthew 13:11 (NIV)
"He replied, 'Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.'"
Romans 12:2 (NIV)
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will."
1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV)
"But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"
Ephesians 5:26 (NIV)
"to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word."
John 17:17 (NIV)
"Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth."
Psalm 119:9 (NIV)
"How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word."
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (NIV)
"What we have received is… the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us… taught by the Spirit."
Psalms 24:1-4 NIV
1The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
Before activating the access legally acquired through the blood of Jesus Christ, we must be in a state of consecration — a posture of surrender and obedience to the King’s ordinances found in His Word. This requires a purity of heart, which God has given us by free will. It is a monarchy, but the purest kind, ruled in Love — a kind we are not accustomed to and can only embrace by living in the Spirit of God Himself.
Now, knowing that our deliverance and translation from darkness to the Kingdom of Light is to be trained by the Holy Spirit for service to the King, brothers, let us step into the first phase of deployment by consecrating our lives. Allow the Holy Spirit to search our hearts, strip away remnants of old allegiance, old kingdom names, old king covenants, old kingdom mannerisms, and old kingdom positions. Let the Holy Spirit debrief us so He can make us pure vessels ready to serve the King’s agenda.
Psalms 139:23-24
23Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Pray: Father, I allow You Holy Spirit to search my heart, reveal to me and test me to get in to the roots of the compartments of my heart and unroot all that has allegiance to my former kingdom-idols, demonic covenants, generational bondages/curses, unforgiveness, pride, deceit, hate, jealousy and all that does not please You that I may be found pure in heart ready to be used by You oh King for your Glory. In Jesus name. Amen!
2. Cultivation
Daniel 1:17
17To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
Once your allegiances are settled and you are consecrated before the King, cultivation training begins. This is where the Holy Spirit downloads wisdom from Heaven, divine blueprints — just like with the four Hebrew boys. Nebuchadnezzar may not be comparable to God, but we see a principle in the kingdom process for official appointees. This is when we receive rhema words by meditating on God’s Word and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit — wisdom, prophecy, transformation, power, and tongues — a direct line to the King’s chamber powered by the blood of the Lamb.
This is the season for the Holy Spirit to increase our stamina to tarry in the Spirit with a pure heart. You can stay in prayer, but if your heart is polluted, you’ll hear nothing. That’s why consecration is essential for ascension in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
John 15:4-5 (NIV)
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you… If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit."
Luke 8:15 (NIV)
"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."
2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness."
Titus 3:5 (NIV)
"He saved us… through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit."
The book of Exodus notes that ordination of the priest involves knowledge of their role, systems of offerings, methodology, and consecration. Similarly, we are ordained in our Kingdom ranks as we surrender to the cultivation process of the Holy Spirit, training us in the systems of mythology, the technology of faith, activation in prayer, the power of obedience, and mysteries of wisdom founded on the fear of the Lord — peace that transcends understanding — and the importance of meditating on God’s Word.
Colossian1:9-12 NIV
9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
To share in our inheritance and ranks in the Kingdom, we must continually be filled by the Holy Spirit, creating capacity and knowledge within us to be literate and competent in the Spirit of the Kingdom agenda — not just regular citizens with no access to such knowledge. Brothers, let us ascend in the Spirit and dwell in Zion, where downloads of Kingdom knowledge, revelation, and wisdom are expected and released. There, deep convictions and seeds for spiritual conception for intercession are generated, and callings and rankings in the Kingdom are cemented.
Pray: Father, train and cultivate me Holy Spirit for me to gain access into Your counsel in Zion where my ears, hands, heart and feet is locked in to You. Create in my heart a hunger to reach a dimension in the spirit that I can receive the download, blueprints, seed for intercession and revelations that generates deep convictions in service for the King and His glory. In Jesus name, Amen!
3. Class & Commission
Having completed background checks and training, it is now time to be commissioned! Just as Jesus was born in a manger to die on the cross, it is established that we are delivered and translated into the Kingdom of God to be consecrated, trained, and commissioned. The Bible is clear about our ranks; it is not our consecration or devotion that elevates us but the blood of Christ that legally purchases our access to high security clearance for counsel and fellowship with the King. The Holy Spirit gives us the will and acts through us.
Philippians 2:13 (NIV)
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Galatians 5:16-17 (NIV)
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."
Now her are some of our ranks or class in the Kingdom:
-Priest
A Royal Priesthood — mediators between heaven and earth, establishing altars and portals of heaven on earth. We are priests of Heaven, with Jesus as our High Priest. We keep the lampstand’s fire burning. Our ordination comes from understanding our role as priests. May the Holy Spirit reveal the mysteries of being a priest for the King.
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Hebrews 4:16 (NIV):
"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
We are also the living cornerstone of the Kingdom, found and chosen in Christ. Begin to exercise your priestly role in your home, business, workplace, and community.
1 Peter 2;4-5
4As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him- 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
-Light and Salt
Salt preserves and prevents decay — the technology available at the time. We are the preservative of the Kingdom, preventing further decay and death. Light aids sight in darkness; when all is lit, light becomes unnecessary. We live in a world ruled by another kingdom — darkness. Our King appointed us to carry His light, which darkness cannot comprehend or overcome. Act accordingly.
Matthew 5:13-14
13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
John 1:5
5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
-Ambassadors
We are Christ’s ambassadors — full representatives of the King and His Kingdom, possessing power, resources, authority, grace, and love. An ambassador is appointed by the King to establish embassies — territories of the Kingdom acknowledged by surrounding rulers of the kingdom of darkness. Know your rank and class and go establish embassies wherever you go.
2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV)
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
1 Corinthians 6;19
9Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
-Sonship
We were adopted from strangers into the very family of the King. From citizens, we have become royalty. Let that sink in. This revelation will change the way we think: we are heirs of the Kingdom, not just citizens or officials. As sons, we need to beat the very heartbeat of our Father the King. It is no longer just a duty to serve the King but comes from intimacy with the Father.
John 1:12 (NIV):
"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
Romans 8:14-16 (NIV):
"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"
Romans 8:17 (NIV):
"Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."
Galatians 4:6-7 (NIV):
"Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, Father.' So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir."
There are many more scriptures detailing our ranks and classes in the Kingdom of God. Now, let’s move to commissioning!
Matthew 28:18
18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Having gone through citizenship debriefing, consecration, cultivation, and training in the Spirit, it is time to go! Jesus said all authority means all army, armory, resources, power, authority, wisdom, grace, and love of the Kingdom are at our disposal when we go and translate souls from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light.
The apostolic mandate—to "send off" ambassadors or army officials—was used by Kings to represent them in foreign kingdoms and execute their agendas. In our case, the apostolic mandate is a spiritual battle to redeem souls from darkness. Although these souls are trapped and deceived by darkness, blinded by pain, trauma, manipulation, and fear, we carry the authority of Christ and the seal of the King.
Isaiah 61:1-4
1The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3and provide for those who grieve in Zion-
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
4They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
Isaiah 45:1-3
1"This is what the Lord says to his anointed,
to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of
to subdue nations before him
and to strip kings of their armor,
to open doors before him
so that gates will not be shut:
2I will go before you
and will level the mountains;
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.
3I will give you hidden treasures,
riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
In the name of Jesus, every knee will bow down. The Kingdom that sent us is a Kingdom of dominion and power. The King who sent us is on the throne and in a league of His own that none can imagine to compare. This means that when we execute the agenda of redemption and deliverance, the opposing kingdom stands no chance from any angle at all. So go and execute the victory of Jesus on the cross and transform nations for the Kingdom of God. Go, see, and conquer—then on to the next location. We don't stop till Jesus comes back.
Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Colossians 2:14-15
14having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Pray: Father, open my eyes to see who I am in the Kingdom in Christ and who is sending me. Holy Spirit, make me aware in the Spirit of the power, resources, deliverance, love, and blessings that await my execution of my apostolic mandate from the King for His glory. Make me a man of execution and obedience, knowing that Kingdom might, resources, and the King’s power are sending me to disciple and create Kingdom of God communities. In Jesus’ name.
As we step into our Apostolic mandate, the very mandate of the Kingdom is activated, and all the resources of Heaven stand ready. The Kingdom of God is a realm of power and dominion, yet it operates wholly in love. Romans 13 reminds us that we may fulfill every Kingdom assignment, but without love, it amounts to nothing.
If the signature of the kingdom of darkness is to steal, kill, and destroy, then the signature of our Kingdom is life in its fullness, powered by the love of the King who dwells within us and surrounds us.
We are not just a high ranking officials and generals in the Kingdom but also the sons of the King through the blood of Jesus, so our knowledge of the King is not from the distance or intellectual understanding but of intimate relationship and personal experience.
So take a moment to re-evaluate your life through the lens of this revelation—of the Kingdom to which you belong. Let this understanding lead you to consistently pledge your full allegiance to the King who loves you beyond measure.
