WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY?
When God Enters, Everything Changes
Text: Psalm 24:7–10
THIS IS A SUMMON: This is governmental speech. To formally call for the Presence of Someone.
Psalm 24 is often sung, but it was never meant to be merely sung. It was meant to be declared.
“Lift up your heads, O gates;
and be lifted up, you everlasting doors,
and the King of Glory shall come in.”
This is not a request. This is not a suggestion.
This is a command issued to systems, territories, and spiritual structures.
Psalm 24 is revealing something dangerous:
- God does not enter environments randomly.
- ā He enters where gates are opened.
- ā And gates are opened by people who carry authority.
š³1. THE QUESTION IS ASKED TWICE — NOT FROM IGNORANCE, BUT FROM REVELATION
“Who is this King of Glory?”
“Who is this King of Glory?”
- God is not asking because He lacks identity. He is asking because every level of authority must recognise who is entering.
In Scripture, repetition means:
- emphasis
- intensification
- escalation
This is Heaven announcing:
“Pay attention. Something weighty is happening.”
> Before God enters a territory, His identity is declared into that space.
š³2. THE KING OF GLORY IS NOT A FEELING — HE IS A GOVERNMENT
Many believers know God as:
- Comforter
- Helper
- Provider
- Healer
But Psalm 24 introduces Him as:
- King
- Strong
- Mighty
- Warrior
- Commander of Hosts
This is not the Lamb on the altar. This is the King on the battlefield.
“The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”
This tells us something critical:
> God does not enter environments passively. When He comes in, He comes to take over.
š³3. “STRONG” — GOD ENTERS WITH CAPACITY
Strength is not noise. Strength is capacity.
When the King of Glory enters:
- He carries weight
- He carries endurance
- He carries stability
- He carries sustainability
> Some of us fail not because we are sinful, but because we lack capacity.
The King of Glory enters to strengthen:
- weary leaders
- tired fathers
- exhausted builders
- discouraged innovators
- worn-out intercessors
Isaiah says:
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”
> Strength is restored by presence, not effort.
š³4. “MIGHTY” — GOD ENTERS WITH SUPERIORITY
Mighty means:
- unmatched
- uncontested
- superior
- dominant
When God enters:
- darkness does not negotiate
- resistance does not argue
- systems do not debate
- enemies do not delay
They yield.
Many believers pray as if God is competing.
Psalm 24 reveals:
God is not competing — He is reigning.
> The King of Glory does not struggle for dominance. He arrives dominant.
š³5. “MIGHTY IN BATTLE” — GOD ENTERS AS A WARRIOR
This is where many Christians become uncomfortable.
But Scripture is clear:
- God fights
- God overthrows
- God dismantles
- God breaks resistance
He fights:
- oppression
- injustice
- spiritual opposition
- generational patterns
- demonic resistance
- territorial darkness
Some doors will never open by fasting alone.
Some systems will never shift by wisdom alone.
Some barriers only move when the King of Glory enters as a Warrior.
This is spiritual reality.
š³6. “THE LORD OF HOSTS” — GOD ENTERS WITH ARMIES
“The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory.”
Hosts means armies.
God never enters alone.
When He enters:
- angels move
- forces align
- protection activates
- resistance collapses
This explains why:
- battles end suddenly
- breakthroughs happen swiftly
- favour accelerates
- things shift without explanation
This is divine invasion.
š³7. WHY DOES THE KING OF GLORY WAIT AT THE GATE?
This is the mystery.
If God is sovereign, why does He wait?
- Because God honours spiritual protocol.
He does not force His way into environments.
He waits for:
- authority
- alignment
- invitation
Gates open when:
- seekers rise
- purity qualifies
- authority speaks
God enters where His government is welcomed.
š³8. WHEN THE KING OF GLORY ENTERS, EVERYTHING CHANGES
When He enters:
- atmospheres shift
- confusion lifts
- clarity comes
- favour activates
- warfare ceases
- ideas flow
- courage rises
- fear leaves
- momentum begins
Some of you don’t need a new strategy.
You need the King of Glory to enter your situation.
When He enters:
- marriages heal
- businesses align
- callings awaken
- sons rise
- systems reset
- seasons change
š³9. THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT GOD ENTERING — IT IS ABOUT GOD ENTERING THROUGH YOU
Here is the final truth:
- God enters territories through people.
- You are not waiting for God to move. God is waiting for you to open the gate.
When you walk into a room:
- does peace enter?
- does clarity enter?
- does righteousness enter?
- does authority enter?
> If the King of Glory lives in you, you are a mobile gate.
10. PROPHETIC CALLš„
Lift up your head.
Lift up your authority.
Lift up your obedience.
Lift up your voice.
And declare:
“Gates of my life,
gates of my family,
gates of my calling,
gates of my city,
gates of my generation —
OPEN.
The King of Glory is coming in.”
DECLARATIONš„
The Lord strong enters.
The Lord mighty enters.
The Lord mighty in battle enters.
The Lord of Hosts enters.
And where He enters:
- darkness leaves
- resistance bows
- destiny accelerates
- glory rests
Lift up your heads, O gates. And let the King of Glory come in.
