FROM DESPERATION TO DIVINE DELIVERANCE.

WHEN JESUS STEPS IN — LIFE IS RESTORED .

đź“– Key Passage:
Mark 5:21–43

1. Faith Must Be Intentional.

Mark 5:22-23
" And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”

Jairus didn’t stay at home hoping — he went to Jesus publicly and desperately.

Mark 10:46-48
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Quotes:
“Desperate faith breaks protocol to reach Jesus.”
“Faith is not waiting—it is moving toward Jesus despite the odds.”
Supporting Scripture:

Hebrews 11:6
" But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Prayer Point:
Lord, give me bold, intentional faith to pursue You regardless of circumstances.

2. Jesus Is Not Limited by Interruptions

Mark 5:24
" So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.”

On the way to Jairus’ house, Jesus stops — yet still completes the miracle.
Delay is not denial - keep believing.
It’s not a setback a divine setup.

John 11:11-15
" These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”
Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.
Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.”

Quotes:
“God’s delays are not denials—they are setups for greater glory.”
“What feels like interruption is often divine orchestration.”

Supporting Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 — “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

Prayer Point:
Father, help me to trust Your timing and remain confident even in delays.

3. Reject Fear, Hold on to Faith

Mark 5:35-36
"While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?”
Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Bad news came — but Jesus spoke faith immediately.

Romans 4:18
"Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Hebrews 11:17-19
By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Quotes:
“Fear speaks facts, but faith declares truth.”
“Your outcome is not determined by the report, but by what you believe.”
Supporting Scripture:

2 Timothy 1:7
" For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Prayer Point:
Lord, I reject fear and choose to believe Your word above every report.

4. Protect the Atmosphere of Your Miracle

Mark 5:40
" But they laughed at him.
After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was."

Jesus removed doubt before releasing power.
Who gets into the room with you?
Watch out on the atmosphere you allow and the company you keep.
Jesus only allowed people who had “skin in the game”.

Quotes:
“Not every voice deserves access to your promise.”
“Faith grows in the right atmosphere—guard it fiercely.”

Supporting Scripture:

Proverbs 4:23
"Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it."

Prayer Point:
Father, remove every voice of doubt and negativity around my life.

5. What Looks Dead Is Not Final with Jesus

Mark 5:39
" He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.”
Jesus redefined death as sleep.
Remove commotion.

Example:
 Ezekiel 37:3-4
" He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know. ”
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!"

Quotes:
“God specializes in resurrecting what others have written off.”
“If Jesus is present, your situation still has a future.”

Supporting Scripture:
John 11:25 — “I am the resurrection and the life…”

Prayer Point:
Lord, speak life into every dead situation in my life and family.

6. The Power of His Word Brings Immediate Change.

Mark 5:41-42
" He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished."

One word — and everything changed.

Example:

Hebrews 11:3
" By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

Quotes:
“When Jesus speaks, delay loses its power.”
“One word from God can rewrite your entire story.”
Supporting Scripture:
Luke 1:37 — “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Prayer Point:
Father, release Your word over my life and bring immediate transformation.
