đź“Ś The Lesson of Mary and Martha
In Luke 10:38–42, Martha worked tirelessly to serve Jesus, but she became anxious and bitter. Mary simply sat at Jesus' feet. Martha thought she had to earn her worth through her service, but Jesus corrected her. Martha placed her value on her work, but our true value is found only at the feet of Jesus. We don't work to get God's love; we work because we are already loved!
