THUS FAR THE LORD HELPED US!

1 Samuel 7:12
" Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”

AS WE CELEBRATE THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY.
"Four years is not simply a measure of time—it is a testimony of God's faithfulness. We have not arrived by our own strength. Every answered prayer, every soul touched, every obstacle overcome, and every victory won has been because of the Lord. As we celebrate today, let us not become comfortable. Let us thank God for yesterday, remain faithful today, and move into tomorrow with expectation, believing that the God who has sustained us for four years will continue to lead us into even greater things."

1. "Ebenezer – Thus Far the Lord Has Helped Us"
Key Scripture:
1 Samuel 7:12
"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up... and called its name Ebenezer, saying, 'Thus far the LORD has helped us.'"

Main Points
Remember where God brought us from.
Celebrate God's faithfulness through every season.
Give God all the glory.
Build faith for the years ahead.

2. "Great Is Thy Faithfulness"

Lamentations 3:22-23
" Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

Focus on:
God's mercy every morning.
Seasons of testing.
God's consistency.
Thanksgiving.

3. "He Who Began a Good Work"

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;"

Three points:
God Starts.
God Sustains.
God Finishes.

4. "Remaining Fruitful"

John 15:4-5
" Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

Psalms 1:3
" He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

Being planted.
Flourishing.
Bearing fruit.
Remaining fresh.

5. "The Lord Has Done Great Things"
Scripture:
Psalm:3
"The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad."
Reflect on testimonies from the past four years and encourage expectancy for greater things ahead.

"Remember. Rejoice. Renew."

1. Remember God's Faithfulness

Psalms 77:11-12
" I will remember the works of the LORD;
Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
I will also meditate on all Your work,
And talk of Your deeds.”

- "I will remember the works of the LORD."
Let us recall answered prayers, miracles, growth, friendships, and God's provision.

2. Rejoice in His Goodness

Philippians 4:4
" Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Psalms 100:1-2
“Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.”

⃠Celebrate with thanksgiving because gratitude honours God.

3. Renew the Vision.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
Then the LORD answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.”

⃠The first four years are only the foundation. God is calling the ministry or group to greater impact, deeper discipleship, and wider influence.

4. Recommit Ourselves.

John 15:4-5
" Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
⃠Let us abide.

5. Look Forward with Faith.
Isaiah 43:19
" Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.”

"Behold, I will do a new thing."

⃠Let us believe God for new opportunities, greater fruitfulness, and fresh breakthroughs.
