Topic:  THE POWER OF DIVINE RELATIONSHIP. (PART 1)

Content:

 Part 2

Definitions

Divine connections/ relationships are those God-breathed relationships that seemingly come out of nowhere and have the potential to radically impact your life - vital to walking in your prophetic destiny.

The reality is, we need each other. God has not called us to walk alone, and He will bring divine connections into our lives at strategic times.

Divine connections are scriptural and necessary to fulfilling your prophetic destiny. Part of your destiny is in someone else, and part of someone else’s destiny is in you.

“We are like islands in the sea, separate on the surface but connected in the deep.” William James

THE BUTLER & THE SERVANT GIRL.

Joseph and the chief butler.

Genesis 40:14
But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house.

Genesis 41:14
Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.

Be a blessing to people as they will open doors for you…But remember me when it is well with you
God places people in our live for such a time… to mention your name in place you cannot speak.
We need people to open doors for us to the next level.

Naaman and the Syrian Servant girl.

2 Kings 5:2-3
And the Syrians had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Israel. She waited on Naaman’s wife. Then she said to her mistress, “If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.”

The slave girl gave Naaman the divine answer to his situations even though she was a slave!
Sometimes we receive divine counsel from unexpected sources.

Prayer points

Father help me handle my relationships well in servicing people. Lord I pray for the “cup bearers” in my life who will speak on my behalf where am unable. Finally we bless all who have opened the doors for us in the past.

THE M.O.G & THE MANTLE.

Elijah & Shunammite woman.

2 Kings 4:8-10
(cf. 1 Kin. 17:17–24)
Now it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn in there to eat some food. And she said to her husband, “Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.”
Two things she did right.
She perceived that  Elijah was a man of God.
She created an opportunity to be a blessing.

 Prayer points:

That we may see and perceive people right.
That we may learn the culture of honour the servant of God because your breakthrough is in someone else.
That we may seek to be a blessing to other with no strings attached.

2 Kings 4:13
And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ”
She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”
Elijah in turn sort way he could be a blessing to her.

2 Kings 4:14
So he said, “What then is to be done for her?”
And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.”
when you serve the Lord He will bless you in ways that you did not even pray for…
“The measure of a men's greatness is not the number of servants he has, but the number of people he serves.” John Hagee.
Faith and works are bound up in the same bundle. He that obeys God trusts God; and he that trusts God obeys God. He that is without faith is without works; and he that is without works is without faith. C- Charles Spurgeon
Be careful not to miss the people that Carrie your breakthrough.
Be careful on how you discern the people in your journey.

“Miracles are a shift in perception.” – Kenneth Wapnick
Luke 23:42 Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

Elisha & Elijah.

1 Kings 19:19-21
So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him. And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.”
And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?”
So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant.

2 Kings 2:1-2
And it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

2 Kings 2:9-10
And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?”
Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.”

Elisha did not waste time to follow his calling but lay down everything to pursue & serve Elijah.
Elisha was focused and relentless in his pursuit of the mantle.
Matthew 10:41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
