 What does the fire of God represents ?

POWER, PURITY, PROTECTION,PRESENCE 
 
The word of God demonstrates his physical presence through fire to his people. 
 
God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush on Mount Sinai (Exodus 3:2).
 
He guided the Israelites by day in a pillar of cloud and by night in a pillar of fire to lead them on their way (Exodus 13:21).
 
The fire on the altar served as a constant reminder of God’s power and presence, and it consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces (Leviticus 9:24).
 
When Solomon finished his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple (2 Chronicles 7:1).
 
Elijah prayed to God, and the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, the stones, the dust, and the water in the trench (1 Kings 18:38).
 
Deuteronomy 4:24 states, “For the Lord your God is a consuming fire
 
Acts 2:3 tells us that tongues of fire fell upon the heads of Jesus’s disciples.
 
How do we fuel the fire within us
Spending time in his presence through prayer, reading and studying the word, listening to worship songs, serving, gathering with other believers.
Sharing and listening to testimonies about how God is working in other people’s lives.
 
What are the benefits of the fire of God in our lives.
When the fire of God resides within us.
It purifies us and helps us live a holy and righteous life before God.
It gives us zeal, passion, and a love for the things of God.
It helps us to completely surrender to God’s will for our lives.
It gives us the boldness and courage to share the good news of the kingdom.
 
Keep the fire burning 
If you want to see mighty things happen in your life and the lives of others, the fire of the Holy Spirit must burn strong. Keeping the anointing burning brightly is like stoking a fire, so it continually burns hot.
 
Romans 12:11-13
Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive. Serve the Lord.
When you hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When you pray, be faithful.

Lord may the fire of Your Holy Spirit never go out in me.
Lord my heart is the altar and my love for you is the flameI, help me keep the fire burning for you Lord so that I will rejoice in your name.
Lord help me to be a fire starter in other peoples lives.
 
I encourage you to burn for the Lord at all times.
