*Ephesians 1:1-6* - “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 *Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ*.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with *every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ*, 4 just as He chose us in Him *before the foundation of the world*, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 *to the praise of the glory of His grace*, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
*Reflections*
1. The departure and landing point for all believers in Christ is the point of grace.
2. Our Father makes available to all His children a priceless virtue that the world craves for but do not have: *Peace*.
3. In the mind of God, our life started not when we were born physically nor born again spiritually, but when He chose us in Himself before the foundation of the world.
4. Redemption in Christ restores our fellowship with God to what He ordained before we sinned in Adam and fell short of the glory of God.

Father, I thank You for the physical and the spiritual blessings that You have bestowed on me. I want in the light of this revelation today and into the future IJN

Vs. 4 - “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.”
Father, I thank You because I do not live under the yoke of sin and the bondage of condemnation anymore. I live in Your Holiness and with right standing with You. I engage with and experience Your love afresh in my life today.

Vs. 5 - “Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.”
*John 1:12-13* - “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Father, by faith I receive all that you have given to me to become your own, adopted into your family as a son with full rights and privileges. I hence walk in power and live a life of grace and and favour IJN.
