1. Breaking the silencing power of our senses.

 

• The Lord is a perfect planner.

• He knows the beginning and the end of our earthly tenure.

• He has perfectly planned a path for you, hence we need to take off our masks.

• The only way to know his way is through faith. Faith will open our eyes, ears and help us voice out the Lord with out fear.

 

Luke 1:19-20

 

The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”

 

• Zechariah was the beginning of God’s plan for mankind. His son John was to be born and to proclaim the coming of Christ. An angel spoke to him, but his senses made him disbelieve and hence he was silenced till what had to happen came to pass.

• What is making us disbelieve . It is because of disbelief we run to materialistic  things for confidence

• This running after acquiring materialistic confidence is the silencing factor .

This I point to our lack of faith.

• In his battle plan against the devil God was meticulous to safe guard the interests of Man.

 

 

Romans 5:1-5

 

Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

 

 

Prayer point: -

Let us pray for faith in God’s plan in our lives, that we may not be silent in proclaiming his plans for us.

Let us pray that our faith will break the silencing power of our senses.

 

2. Slaves to Righteousness:-

 

Romans 6:16

Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

 

 

As we strengthen in faith, our ability to become slaves to righteousness is enhanced.

Make yourselves slaves to the will of God and to his plans in your life.

Don’t be a maker of your own plans, but a slave to God’s plan.

 

Luke 1:37  

for no word from God will ever fail.

 

Let us pray:-

 

God help us to completely surrender to your plans .That our minds , body and spirit will be liberated from the fear of the unkinown because nothing is a mystery to you oh God.

 

3. Fear not.

 

 

Luke 1:59-66

On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father Zechariah, but his mother spoke up and said, “No! He is to be called John.”

They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who has that name.”

Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to name the child. He asked for a writing tablet, and to everyone’s astonishment he wrote, “His name is John.” Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue set free, and he began to speak, praising God. All the neighbors were filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people were talking about all these things. Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.

 

The Lord’s Battle plans are meticulous , he has planned everything to the finest detail. He planned the birth of John the Baptist and even before John became a man , while he was still a newborn child, the Lord was already performing signs and wonders for him.

He opened his fathers’ voice. He opened Zechariah’s voice so he may proclaim the goodness of God.

 

 

Gentlemen fear not , do  not worry about your circumstances , for even when you don’t know it , God is working.

In your weakness and innocence he is working for your good. He is making you a “ perfect lego piece” in his grand plan.

 

“ Even when I don’t feel it your working. Even when I don’t see it your working. You never stop,  you never  stop working”

 

Let us pray:-

 

Thank you god for paving the way for me. Let my eyes be open to see the direction you intend me to go every second of my life. Be it in my family, my work place , my community or nation.

 

 

4. Giving;-

        

Acts 17:24-25

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

 

I myself am a product of of someone giving . 

When you give , your posture of your heart is what’s most important. 

There are many who will come and tell you or question your actions . Documentaries will be made and sometimes even your close friends and family May question you. It could put a second thought in your mind if the posture of your at the moment of giving is not right. 

What we give we give unto God, he will know how to direct what is given . 

Remember he does not need your serving . He is the constant we are the variable .

So in this season set the posture of your heart right and give because you want to not because you have to.

 

Prayer point:-

Let us pray to the father to set the posture of our heart right that it may not be swayed by worldly intellect. Let us pray that when we are given charge of many we will not hide our giving posture. Let us pray that that the worldly pleasures will not dampen the giving heart of the holy spirt that resides in you . 

Let us pray that this miracle offering will be a miracle for generations to come under the stewardship of our God.
