FOR THE LORD GOD HELPS ME, THEREFORE, I AM NOT DISGRACED; THEREFORE, I HAVE SET MY FACE LIKE FLINT, AND I KNOW THAT I SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.
Jesus, as He finished His ministry in the Galilee knew that His destiny lay in Jerusalem.
AND IT CAME ABOUT IN WHEN THE DAYS WERE APPROACHING FOR HIS ASCENSION, THAT HE RESOLUTELY SET HIS FACE TO GO TO JERUSALEM. Luke 9:51.
Jesus set his face like the flint in the walls of the Negev. So resolute and unshakable to get to Jerusalem to complete His true mission on earth.
As men, we have to set our faces like a flint in fulfilling God's call or calling, purposes, assignments and visions for our lives. We have to be resolute and unshakeable.
Our resolve should be that we are not competing with anyone. ( Compete against yourself) , carve your niche, forge your identity.
There's a sense of fulfillment and the building of legacies for posterity that comes with an assignment. Every assignment must be fulfilled with laser guided focus.
A lot we can learn from Apostle Paul, Noah, Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Gustave Eiffel, Charles Pearson, Lee Kuan Yew, the Japanese and the South Koreans.

Father cause me to set my face like a flint, and harder than an adamant to every assignment you have given me.

Father help me not to be disobedient to the heavenly vision. I know You have activated every resource that I need to accomplish purpose and vision .

Father help us not to fall to the demands, whims and caprices of men, but to stay the course, maintain the cause and fully declare Your counsel.
The Acts 20:27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
Father help me to become a person of influence, relevance and value to my community, city and nations.
The world today is a mixed zone, determine to be distinguished and distinct from others by setting your face like a flint.
