Topic: TIME STEALERS - LIFE WASTERS
Content:
*Psalm 118:24*
“This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
*Ecclesiastes 3:1*
“There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Things are not always what you think they are. What is the connection between time, vision, and destiny?
*John 9:1-4*
“And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
*Reflections* - Whoever you serve with your time is your Master
1. There seemed to be an urgency with Christ’s response to his disciples.
2. There are divine information and spiritual intelligence that are currently out of your field of reasoning and understanding, but through superior technology God has made available to those who love him.
*Ephesians 2:10*
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Prayer Points:
*Prayer point 1*
Lord renew my understanding and priority so that I cease to trade my time for things that do not matter.
*Reflections* - Whoever owns your time owns you
*John 10:10* -
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
1. There is a stealthy contention for your time.
*Psalm 31:15*
“My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.”
2. If the devil can steal your time, he can steal your life and abort God’s destiny for your life
*Ephesians 5:16*
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
3. When the devil succeeds in stealing your time, then ‘the day the Lord has made’ may seem evil.
*Prayer point 3*
Lord help me to redeem my time and make the most of every opportunity. I declare “My times are not in my hands but in your hands.”
*Reflections* - Two instruments of time redemption: Restoration and Speed
1. The most valuable thing on earth is TIME.
*Jeremiah 1:11-12*
Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, “Jeremiah, what seest thou?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree.”
Then said the Lord unto me, “Thou hast well seen, for I will hasten My word to perform it.”
2. The second most valuable thing on earth is SPEED.
*Prayer point 3*
Lord as I redeem time and opportunity, I receive grace for a renewed vision, understanding, and for speed in Jesus name.
