1. Every time you fail to obey or enforce the will of God in your life, you eat the apple again.

*Reflections*

1. Man, through the impulses of the flesh, was deceived by Satan that he was going to be wise. Rather, he became a fool, fell and lost his position with the God.

2. Every time you fail to obey the will of God, you risk the abortion or retraction of your destiny.

3. One of the assignments of the Spirit of God in a believer is to bring the mental and physical faculties to the obedience of the will of God. Hence, our need to have a significant communion with the Holy Spirit.

 

*Prayer Point 2*

Father, I receive the grace to not shun Your wisdom at the expense of my carnal wisdom, the impulses of my flesh and the lust of my eyes. Help me to remain humble as I dwell continuously in Your Presence.

 

 

*Holy Communion Confession*

 

I approach this altar today as the head of my family, carrying my spouse and all my children with me. I declare we are blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.

 

According as God’s power has given to me all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called me to glory and virtue: whereby are given to me exceeding great and precious promises: I am a partaker of the divine nature and have escaped the corruption that is in this world through lust.

 

Because we are one with Christ, we are united with Him and claimed by God as His own inheritance.

 

Because Jesus Christ took my place upon the Cross, I have been redeemed from the curse of the law. Instead of death, I have life and life in abundance. I am no longer bound by the shackles of darkness, Jesus has set me free and I am free indeed!

 

Therefore, I no longer walk in the futility of my mind, darkened in my understanding, and alienated from the life of God. My old self I have put off, which belongs to my former manner of life and was corrupt through deceitful desires. I am renewed in the spirit of my mind, even as I put on the new man, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

 

In accordance with the superabundant grace and riches that Jesus Christ lavished on me and is already working in me, I am blessed with all wisdom and understanding, and with the capacity to know the mystery of God’s will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ.

 

My thoughts and ways align with the thoughts and ways of my Father God.

 

I am marked in Christ with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.

 

I am God-conscious, Cross-conscious and New Man conscious.
