God has kept us in charge of our families because he loves our families . 

God does not keep you in charge for your glory but for the glory of the people you take charge off. 

 

I kings 10: queen of Sheena visited Solomon and saw that Solomon was wise and good. 

Her prayer in 1 kings 10:9 is what is true for all of us . 

 

1 Kings 10:9

Praise be to the LORD your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on the throne of Israel. Because of the LORD’s eternal love for Israel, he has made you king to maintain justice and righteousness.”

 

Let us pray: 

For divine knowledge and humility that we may now the divine purpose of the charge we have been given in our families , our work place and our community , our church , our connects. 

 

Let us pray that our spirit will have divine insight to the God projected path that he has made us in charge of. 

 

2. God is asking “ who am I to you”

 

Only when you know who Jesus is can you be able to spread the word ,that he is our Saviour. 

Jesus was sent for us as a weapon against the devil. He is  our protector. He has come to conquer the evil one for our sake. He is God gift to you and all you need to do is say is “ I believe in you and the blood you shed for me “

Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?”

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Peter answered, “God’s Messiah.”

 

Only when we really know who Jesus is can we be able to tell others . Only when we experience him can you tell others of your experience . 

His is asking you” Who do you think I am”

What is you answer?

For the time spent in our secret place.May  it  be a time so good that we hunger for it more and more so much so that the voice of the Lord will ring out so loud even as we work, play, travel , break bread . His voice will take the form visions in our sleep directing our life path 24/7

We pray for a 24/7 secret place experience . 

 

3. The true God vs the idols

1kings 18: Elijah’s faith brought back a nation

A miracle not for himself but for God to bring back a nation

Elijah took no credit for it but gave all glory to God .

 

1 Kings 18:36-39

 

At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The LORD—he is God! The LORD—he is God!”

 

What is your motive when you serve ?

What is the intention when you attend church?

Is it just a habit or is it to impress some one else or is it hunger for connecting with God. 

 

And Yes if it is hunger for God such that your faith is just like Elijah and when your faith stirs miracles , to whom do you give the glory . When your prayers are answered , to whom is the Glory. 

Remember to give him the glory and don’t take the benefit as that clan lad to pride . 

 

Seek miracles not for your fame but for other’s benefit

Let us adore God and give him the glory for everything

Raise you prayer and give him the glory for what ever he has done in you family , your church , your health , your children , your finances , your Jobs , your work environment, 

Praise him , praise him
