Is this the time to receive money and clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and cattle, and male and female servants? *Lesson learnt:*
Deceit is always attractive in a moment.
"Pause before you leap" reminds us as believers to approach life's decisions with a strong foundation in faith. It encourages a thoughtful, prayerful, and deliberate approach to decision-making that honours God and aligns with the teachings of Christ
Prayer Points:
*PRAYER POINTS*
*1* . *Embracing Deliberation:*
Let's pray that before making major decisions or taking significant actions to pause and deliberate. Let's seek shelter in the Secret Place of God (Psalms 91), lest we end in regrettable consequences.
*What you think is the right road may lead to death.* Proverbs 14:12 GNBUK
*Romans 12:2 NKJV* .And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
*2.* *Mindful Decision-Making:*
Pausing before leaping allows us to practice mindfulness.
Let's go before God and pray to be fully present in the moment, aware of your thoughts and emotions, to be able to make more informed choices that align with Christ, our Shepherd. We want to be able to recognise an attack presented like a blessing. We pray against Mirage, presented in our needy moments.
*John 10:10 GNBUK* , “The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness.”
*3.* *Patience and Timing:*
Timing is often crucial in life. We ask of Gods wisdom that we do not rush into things to later cause disruption to natural flow of events or cause unnecessary stress.
Father, keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you. *Psalms 51:10 TPT.*
*Psalms 37:7â€-‬9* NLT Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper— it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.‬
