*Joshua 1:7* - “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may *observe to do* according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; *do not turn from it* to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.”
*Courage* - the *quality of mind or spirit* that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain etc. without fear; bravery.
- the *choice and willingness* to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. Valour is courage or bravery, especially in battle.
- the brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
*Reflections*
1. Guard your heart to keep out the conflict.
2. Be mindful of your carnal perception, reasoning and logic.
3. “Be strong” means “your strength, resolve and stability will be tested.”
4. You need to invest in staying strong by reminding yourself of His Presence with you and meditating on His word day and night to maintain kingdom reality.
5. “Be courageous” means “your the object of your focus will be vetted.”
6. In spite of the conflict around you, be courageous to act, stand, and see the salvation of the Lord.
7. The secret to prosperity is maintaining steadfastness and becoming focused.
*Proverbs 24:10* - “If you fail (or faint) in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”

Father, I receive your empowerment through the ministry of the Holy Ghost. I acknowledge the help of the Holy Spirit to support me to live a flourishing life that radiates the goodness of God. IJN

Father, I receive the grace to meditate on Your word day and night. Let Your word create my reality. Bring to my remembrance the assurance of Your Presence with me. IJN
*Mark 4:35-39* - “On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 


37 And a great windstorm arose, and *the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling*. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”

1. In life, never allow battles in your mind. Keep the water out of the boat.
2. You can only speak to the storm and the waves from a place of calm.
3. The ability to take required action from a place of calm resides in staying strong and being courageous.
4. The one that experiences God’s stillness qualifies to induce great calm. What you have is what you give!

Father, I receive the grace for strength stability, courage to focus on You and Your word. Holy Spirit, help me to observe to do according to the principles, promises and prophecies contained in God’s word. IJN
