The greatest weapons and vehicles of transformation at creation were the Spirit and the light.
God deliberately and intentionally deployed the Spirit first before the light. He enthroned the importance of the spirit and used that to set the tone for us.
Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
The spirit brings clarity, it destroys chaos and brings about sanity, order, stability and structure and government, please not rigid structures that become obsolete.
God esteems the spirit in His dealings with us. The proclivity and propensity to deviate from the things of the spirit is always lurking around.
Galatians 3, 2nd Corinthians 3.
Our responsibility is to start in the spirit, remain in the spirit and finish in the spirit. Give no room to a fleshly and secular and humanistic approach and desires.
John the Baptist , spoke so eloquently about Jesus baptizing us with the Spirit and with fire. This is our heritage.

Help us to constantly elevate the things of the spirit above the things of the flesh. Ephesians 5 Vs 18-19.
