Topic:  MOUNTAIN OF ECONOMY

Content:

*1 Timothy 6:10* - “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

*Economy* is a system of production and distribution and consumption. It can also be referred to as the efficient use of resources.

The world economy functions under very complex and multifaceted influences.

1. *World money traders create economic realities*.

More than a trillion dollars are traded every day just in world currency speculations. These traders examine the latest external and internal reports on a nation’s economic health and determine the value of that nation’s currency. World traders run this mountain, not by consensus or strategy, but primarily through fears, rumours, and confidences.

2. *World traders also greatly affect economics through stocks and shares* - especially those traded on Wall Street.
Just as speculation can create overreactions in the currency trade, daily stocks exchanges can turn volatile at a moment’s notice. Instead of nations, various corporations and businesses are affected - and, of course, individuals and families further down the pike.

Trade dynamics can devastate a well-run corporation simply through perceptions and fears. To compound the uncertainty, a company’s collapse always causes ripple effects that can potentially topple other businesses.

*Who Currently Rules the Economy?* - The Canaanites

The Canaanites on this mountain are working to either get people to be over-zealous in their trading and trafficking or to subject them to poverty - or both. These Canaanites of greed and poverty are opposed to anyone living in God’s provision (Jehovah-Jireh - “The Lord my provider”). The same spirits that cause starvation in Africa also cause people in the first world to be spiritually lost in materialism.

*Who is the king of the Canaanites?*

The demonic principality that sits atop this mountain and uses the Canaanites of greed and poverty for his own means is *Mammon*, or *Babylon*.

*Luke 16:13* - “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

*The Fall of Babylon* - The collapse of World Economy

*Haggai 2:6-9* - “For thus says the Lord of hosts, “Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. *I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the Lord of hosts*.

“The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,” declares the Lord of hosts. “The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,” says the Lord of hosts, “and in this place I will give peace,” declares the Lord of hosts.”

*How to Take the Mountain of Economy*

*Psalm 90:17* - “Let the *favour of the Lord our God be upon us*; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands.”

In order to fully take this mountain, we will have to come out from under the influence of Babylon.

Prayer Points:

 *Prayer Points*

Building capacity and courage for financial competencies
1. *Joshua 1:7-8* - “Only be *strong and very courageous*, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then *you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success*.”

Rising faith level in the Body of Christ
2. The *five-fold ministry gift of prophet* carries a very important role in the taking of the mountain of economy.

“Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; *believe in His prophets, and you shall prosper*.”  (*2 Chronicles 20:20*).

A couple of prophecies concerning future transfer of wealth:
a. “You shall eat of the riches of the Gentiles [nations]” (*Isaiah 6:16*).
b. “The wealth of the Gentiles [nations] shall come to you.” (*Isaiah 60:5*).

Rediscovering the kingdom of God
3. *Matthew 13:44-46* - “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like *treasure hidden in a field*, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like *a merchant seeking beautiful pearls*, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it..”

*Look Past the Dirt*

- Look past the dirt (by the spirit of discernment)

- Understand that treasures are hidden in a field: supernatural discovery of hidden wealth and ideas.

- Seek the beautiful pearls. E.g., invaluable opportunities.

- Discover the treasures or the pearls

Deployment of gifts and talents
4. *Proverbs 18:16* - “The gift of a man shall make room for him.”

*Deuteronomy 8:18* - “But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that *gives you power to get wealth, *that he may establish his covenant* which he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

There is a connection between the *gift of a man and the power to get wealth*.

The specific power God gives us is *not to make wealth but to get it*. That means He does all the work and strategising, and we just receive it. We don’t need to pursue wealth; we only need to purse the One who is wealthy.
