*How to Deal with Waters of Life - Genesis 1 v 9-12*

In life, we often find ourselves navigating through different waters - some calm and serene, while others turbulent and challenging.
Here are 3 lessons from our verse of scripture to teach us how to effectively navigate the waters of life.

Prayer Points:

*LESSON 1 – LET THE WATERS BE GATHERED INTO ONE PLACE*

_I must confine experiences to where they belong._

In Genesis 1v9-12, God commands the gathering of waters into one place, we can derive valuable lessons on how to confine our experiences to where they truly belong. The word "let" in this context signifies more than just permission; it implies a deliberate act of allowing and permitting certain elements to exist within their designated boundaries. Similarly, in our own lives, we must learn to confine our experiences within their appropriate spheres. This means recognizing when certain emotions or challenges are meant for a specific time or situation and not allowing them to spill over into other areas unnecessarily. By doing so, we create a sense of order and clarity amidst the chaos.

*LESSON 2 – LET THE DRY LAND APPEAR*
_I must discover the reality of God’s strength available to me._

The passage highlights the transformative act of God in creating dry land amidst the vast waters. This lesson teaches us that we too must discover the reality of God's strength available to us during challenging times. Just as God allowed the dry land to appear, we must learn to navigate through life's turbulent waters with resilience and faith. It is crucial to acknowledge that separation can bring forth new beginnings and opportunities for growth.

*LESSON 3 – LET THE EARTH BRING FORTH*
_I must not allow the pain of my past to hinder the promise of my Future._

We must not allow the pain of our past to hinder the promise of our future. It is essential to acknowledge that difficult times may arise but embracing them as part of our journey is key. Just as the earth brings forth new life despite being surrounded by water in our passage of scripture, we too can overcome obstacles and grow amidst challenging circumstances.
