 Psalm 1 3 “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”

Part I Verse 1 ”Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” - To walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, command the blessing of sight or vision - To stand not in the path of sinners, command the blessing of strength and perseverance - To sit not in the seat of the scornful, command the blessing of dominion, being born of God and being an overcomer According to Psalm 1:1, grant me keen vision and the right perception to walk according to your counsel. Help me to honour empowering relationships in my life. Don’t let me become conceited and believe I know it all. Because I am born of God, therefore I overcome the world IJN

Part II Verse 2-3 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” 3 John 2 - “Beloved, I pray that you prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Romans 12:2 - “And do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God.” Do not be conformed to the counsel of the ungodly, the path of sinners nor the seat of the scornful. According to Psalm 1:2-3 and as I meditate on your word, never let me be removed from the rivers of water where I am guaranteed consistent nourishment. Do not allow my sensitivity to the things of the Spirit be dulled. Grant me the blessing of growth and the grace to bring forth sustainable fruits to the glory of Your Holy name. I declare that the blessing of fruitfulness is mine IJN.

Part III Verse 4-5 “The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. According to Colossians 3:3, because my life is hidden with Christ in God, I declare the enemy is unable to find any legal hold or ground to justify his attacks upon me or any member of my family. I am light. My light in Christ shines and darkness can never comprehend it.

Part IV “For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.“ Finally, Father, as I come to the end of this year, continue to chart the road I travel. I acknowledge You as my Shepherd. Make every valley in my track to be exalted, and every mountain and hill to be made low. Make the crooked straight and the rough places plain. Let this year be crowned with your glory IJN.

Prayer Points: 

 Prayer Point 1 Father, I thank You because I’m blessed and seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I declare these blessings upon my spouse, my work, my ministry, my position in the marketplace etc.

Prayer Point 2 Father, let me be thrilled by word. Open my eyes to wondrous things in your word.

Prayer Point 3 Father, You are the Righteous Judge and the Sovereign King. By your mercy and grace, let every condemnation and accusation of the enemy concerning me and my family be demolished by the precious blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. Be my solid Rock and my immovable foundation.
