Job 12:13-14 “To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his. What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; those he imprisons cannot be released. Our God is the source of all knowledge. He loved us so much that he came down and defeated death. What has been defeated can no longer frighten us. he has imprisoned us in his love and we cannot be released from it. He will chase us down even when we don’t know it. He will carry us when we can’t walk. (Share about your blessing. Ability to train, Comfort in illness when alone, protection of your home avoiding a bigger calamity ) Psalms 3:5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. Psalms 4:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. We can move forward rest assured, knowing full well that we are victorious him no matter what the circumstance.

2. Gaining Ground for God.   Matthew 9:37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”   We are in a spiritual battle that is far more important than the physical realm. Our faith determines the qualitative success of our prayers. The enemy attacks silently. He will try to divert you from your pre-determined destiny by taking charge of your time.   Love those who hate you (share about the anger the devil creates in our home on the days I serve) . In doing so you will hurt the devil even more. People aren’t bad , the influence of the evil one them is what makes them do things that are hurtful. Hence instead of being in ou “pride shell “ of righteousness, keep our hearts open to the diving force of the Holy Spirit .  Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Prayer : Thank you God that you allow me to see through the eyes of the Holy Spirit and this ability brings peace and Joy to my heart knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord . We Pray for our unsaved family. As we travel to family in different nations help us be your instrument of love, peace and joy revealing to them the true nature of our God through   our actions, words , deeds and motives.

3. Praying for our Leaders: 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Instructions on Worship I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Prayer: We give our leaders into your guidance. Leaders at home, of nations of organisations. We want to put our church leaders into your hands, that their hearts will be shielded from the attacks of the devil. We pray for spiritual strength to fight temptation and physical strength to overcome fatigue and disease.

4. Christmas:   I walked through the hospital with all the decorations put up and the lights and pictures of Santa Claus. Everything looked so pretty , a lingering thought passed through my mind . Do we know why we celebrate the season? Do the people around us know why we celebrate the season?  John 1:1-2 The Word Became Flesh In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Psalms 109:31 For he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save their lives from those who would condemn them.

Prayer: Let us pray that in this season of Christmas, our community will understand the real meaning of Christmas. Ou community could be our family, our work place our immediate environment, our unsaved family and friends. We pray that the grace and peace that Jesus stands for will be revealed through us to the on lookers. We pray that our body language will speak the soul language that is spiritually educated by our GOD.
