Psalms 34:1-3

I will bless the LORD at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;

The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

Oh, magnify the LORD with me,

Hebrews 13:15

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

 

Psalm 107:8-9

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things."

 

Psalms 95:2-3

Let's come before him with thanks! Let's shout songs of joy to him! The Lord is a great God, the great king over all other gods."

 

1 Chronicles 16:34

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."

 

 

2. TIMES & SEASONS.

 

A. But time and chance happen to them all.

Ecclesiastes 9:11

 

I have seen something else under the sun:

The race is not to the swift

or the battle to the strong,

nor does food come to the wise

or wealth to the brilliant

or favor to the learned;

but time and chance happen to them all.

 

• The race is for everyone who shows up. 

• The battle can be taken by the “weak”.

• Provision comes from above to all.

• It is the Lord who chooses.            Romans 9:16-17 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”

 

 

 

B. Understanding of times to know what to do. 

 

1 Chronicles 12:32

of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;

 

 

 

2 Samuel 11:1

 

It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem.

 

• In the season of war don’t remain in your comfort.

• In the season of war don’t send someone else go fight on your behalf.

• Don’t remain in the victories of yesterday. 

• Remaining in your comfort can lead to falling into temptations.

• Understand the seasons of your life. 

 

 

 

3. WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING. 

 

A. Wisdom the principle things. 

 

Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is the principal thing;

Therefore get wisdom.

And in all your getting, get understanding.

 

 

 

B. Wisdom to build, establish and to fill the rooms. 

 

Proverbs 24:3-5

Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

By knowledge the rooms are filled

With all precious and pleasant riches.

A wise man is strong,

Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;

 

The three levels we need to move into in 2024. 

1. Wisdom to build new ventures, projects (family/business), career pathways, projects & business opportunities. 

2. The understanding to establish what we have been built. 

3. The knowledge to fill the rooms. 

 

 

 

4. POWER, LOVE & SOUND MIND.

 

A. Not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 

 

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

 

• Let us break of the spirit of fear and receive power, love and a sound mind. 

 

Joshua 1:5-6

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

 

• The lord is with you only be strong and of good courage. 

 

 

 

B. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…..

 

Philippians 2:5-9

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

 

Mindset for this seasons.

• Be humble- And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death. 

• Don’t seek reputation- But made Himself of no reputation and humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death. 

• 2024 requires shift in mindset. 

 

 

 

C. The fear of man is a snare.

 

Proverbs 29:25

The fear of man brings a snare,

But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.

 

• Let us break off the fear of man which is a snare which can be broken by trusting the Lord. 

 

5. FAITH, HOPE & LOVE. 

 

A. Now these three remain.

 

1 Corinthians 13:13

 

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

 

Let us pray that we will remain in faith, keep hope alive and grow in our love for the Lord and His people.

 

B. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

 

Hebrews 11:1-2

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

 

 

 

C. So that the things which are seen were made of things which are invisible. 

Hebrews 11:3

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

 

• Question: What world do you want to frame by faith in 2024?

• Let you faith arise!

 

D. If you have faith as a mustard seed. 

 

Matthew 17:20-21

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

 

• May our faith arise grow in 2024 to move mountains. 

• Faith is in levels, let us believe for the next level.

• There are prerequisite for some levels……. and However this king does not go except by prayer and fasting. 

 

D. What more shall i say for time will fail me to speak of ……. 

 

Hebrews 11:33-34

who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

 

• May your name is included in hall of faith.

• Let us pray to capture the grace for exploits for 2024.

 

Romans 8:19

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

 

• The word eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God.  

 

 

6. STRENGTH FOR THE RACE. 

 

A. let us run with endurance the race that is set before us……

 

Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

 

Let us lay a side any weights or sin and run the race with endurance looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. 

 

B. Contending with horses.

 

Jeremiah 12:5

The LORD Answers Jeremiah

“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you,

Then how can you contend with horses?

And if in the land of peace,

In which you trusted, they wearied you,

Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

 

• Pray for strength to run with horses and stability in the thickets. 

 

C. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. 

 

Isaiah 40:30-31

Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

And the young men shall utterly fall,

But those who wait on the LORD

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

 

 

1. Let us pray for the opportunities that the Lord will offer in 2024. 

2. Time and chance happens to all. Just show up and leave the results to the Lord. 

 

Prayer 

Lord help us to fight our own battles and not to remain in our comfort or dwell in our victories. 

 

 

1• Let us pray for the understanding of times to know what we ought to do in 2024.

 

2• Pray that we will obtain and keep a good testimony because if our faith.
