We thank the Lord for this day. This is the day . this is the day that the lord has made . We will rejoice and be glad in it.

 

Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the LORD are everywhere,

keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

 

Our God has been keeping watch before the world began, his plans for us had been predetermined even before we existed. His triumph on the cross for us was foreknown to him even before the Devil could learn to think.

Let’s praise him. For he is worthy of all praise. Let’s fill this online platform with feelings of praise to our maker.

 

Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

He is forever faithful in his fight for us.

 

2 Thessalonians 3:3: But the lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

 

Let’s pray gentlemen and fill this platform with adoration.

 

 

 

2. Caught between two worlds.

Many are in two minds caught between the voice of human culture and the voice of God.

Our human upbringing has taught us to disconnect from the spirit God imbedded in us the day we were born. Our faith is weakened by the mental control of the evil one on our minds.

Your body, mind and soul is the temple in which the kingdom of God resides. It is from here that the spirt of the Lord is at work in any place through you . Hence your ability to stay  put in the grace of God is so very important.

 

Luke 11:17

“Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.

Jesus explains this in Luke 11:24-28 :

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.”

As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”

He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

 

Matthew 24:13

but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

 

 

Let us pray: God help us to run this earthly race aligned to your will. Help us to insulate our minds to the thoughts that the evil one tries to put in and live wire our hearts to your spirit so that the power of love that cometh from you will flow to every point of “life “ contact we have.

Let us pray for those who are yet to understand the grace of Jesus. For those who are struggling to give up earthly culture and are finding it difficult to understand the gift of your grace .

 

3. Remembering those who are persecuted even today. We are lucky to be in Australia where we have the ability to pray with out fear of persecution. We can profess our faith and ven have a church to go to.

Let us pray for people who do not have this freedom, who are physically persecuted because of their spiritual connection with God.

Yes Jesus did say as we read in Mat 5:11-12

 

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

 

Let us pray

For people in India in the state of Assam who are being asked to stop prayer in missionary schools, break down churches in mission school campuses. These Men of God are physically threatened. We pray that their hearts remain steadfast and rooted in faith and  remember Mat 5;11-12. We pray for God’s angels to cover them in protection as they put forward their foot of faith.

There are many in other countries as well that are physically subdued for their faith in Christ. Lets put them all in prayer . Speaks the names of the countries, for yes with your cry the Angels of the Lord will go forth.

 

4. God is good all the time . All the time , God is good .

I’d like to share about SJ , we prayed for her . She spent Christmas in hospital but by god grace today she is completely healed. She is rid of the infection.

 

Let’s pray this day for all those who are in need of any kind of medical help . if there is any amongst us let us know in the chat so that we can keep you in prayer.

Yest the first step to cure is prayer, it should not be the last step any one takes.

Let us pray for all the sick in hospitals. For all those going for surgery today , for all those in ED today . For all those with chronic ailments
