Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

 

The message in this scripture says that all people are made in the image of God. Being God's image-bearers means that every one of us has a specific and noble purpose , we are of great value to God,and we all need him.

 

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 

 

What we learn from this scripture is God had his direct hand in David’s creation whilst he was in his mother’s womb.(Its the same with each one of us)

David knew his existence was valuable. 

Nothing about him was unknown to God not what he has done or will do.

 

In the same way Yahweh-The Giver of Life

has a plan and purpose for each one of us

 

He has lovingly given each of us the remarkable gift of life. He has created us with a brain to think, emotions to feel, a human body and senses to experience the world, and the ability to be in a relationship with others. And even more importantly, God created us with the capacity to know Him.

 

You are the giver of life. Your light lets us enjoy life. 10 Continue to love those who know you and to do good to those who are good.

 

Here David praises the Lord for His "fountain of life" and being the Giver of light. 

Yes in the same way we come together to pray, praise and worship him , for he is the giver of life, he is the lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

 

For we are His workmanship,created in Christ Jesus for good works , which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

 

God has already planned what he wants us to do with our lives. We do not need to be the same or copy what someone else has done or doing. He has a unique plan for each one of us to serve him. All we have to do is to pray and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in service to our Heavenly Father.

We were the chosen ones in our mother’s womb. We know the day we were born.

I was the chosen one , 62 years ago today 25/02, I came into existence in the city of Durban South Africa.

God knows the purpose and plans for our lives. 

He knew the purpose and plans for me.

At the age of 36 , married with 2 children he took me out of idol worship and brought me into the reality of his world. He had a plan and purpose to demonstrate his power in what he has done in times of uncertainty, and challenges and he continues to do so in my life, at the beginning of this year for 2024 the Holy Spirit had dropped this in my thoughts ,Prayer, Praise , Word ,Worship.

As we journey through life and in every situation 

remember Prayer, Praise,Word,Worship.

Thank God for he is the giver of life , he chose us for our existence  Help us Lord to live a life of purpose 

Use us for the extension of your Kingdom Give us wisdom and knowledge to reach out to the unsaved to bring your reality  to their world
