I wanted to bring cooperate prayer for our human race . For men and women burdened by pain , anger and betrayal. Many have slid back mainly because of loss of earthly conflicts . We feel we always need to be in charge and forget to let go.
This could be happening in workplaces , families among brothers and sisters and among nations .
This could be happening in you mind even though you have a smile on. How is your heart today ?
Plans are established by seeking advice; so if you wage war, obtain guidance.
Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!” Wait for the LORD, and he will avenge you.
A person’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?
B. Serving him in your spirit.
The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one’s inmost being.
Who is influencing your spirit ?
What is influencing your spirit ?
Is it the things of this world ?
To serve in spirit is what our God wants. He wants to see your integrity when no one is watching except him. For it is then that he rejoices more , it is in those times the devil is slapped hard.
God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you.
Paul in this verse expresses how eager he is to do God’s work and measures it with things that only a person who serves in spirit can understand it’s weight. For Paul the desire to spread the Gospel was in his spirit , it was the blue print of his mission.
C. Focusing on the Lord
A person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart. To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
Let not pride and complacency overtake us in our success . In fact in all our success may our maker be glorified .
Pride can come in many ways and need not always be in the form of a snob or ruthless leader .
It can come in the form of impatience. It can come in the form of comparison. It can come in the form of greed.
Pride and successes can sometimes lead us to complacency which in turn can lead us to fall to temptation.
Like David , like Esau. Like Samson ,
Let us heave a heart to seek him only.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Prayer Points:
Prayer:- Praying for those that are wronged and have vengeance in their hearts.
Prayer: let us pray for the lamp to shed light in us to understand the ways of the Lord in our walk through life . That we may walk with a purpose to glorify him and I doing so real a harvest that he intended through you.
Prayer: Lord helps focus on you in times of success not to be complacent and get distracted. Lets us think of us less and give all glory to you our maker . Let us humbly remember that your Grace is a gift that was given freely.
