Let us continue praying in adoration to our maker. Let the room be filled with praises for him . Not with flattery but with thanks giving . For our God is worthy of every praise.

Proverbs 27: 7: One who is full loathes honey from the comb,but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
Hunger , different forms of it exist in the world . Sometimes it is literal. Many people in the world still sleep hungry for they cannot even afford more than a single meal a day.
Every time I visit India this is something that is so evident. Children begging in the streets for lack of food. Parents begging as the economic conditions are so poor. An ill distribution of wealth and resources where you can see some citizens throwing billions of dollars in a wedding while others have to beg for a single meal.
I always try to teach my children about the blessed life they have where they do not have to think about their next meal.
So much is taken for granted in our families that some times food is wasted because our children don’t understand the meaning of hunger .
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Hunger can be for different things . We as grown ups hunger for a secure life . Hence our search and struggle for security. We will sacrifice a lot for earthly security. Can we match that to a hunger for Gods presence and spiritual satisfaction in our lives ? What is taking the upper hand?
2. Hunger for acceptance and love . Are hungry for acceptance ? Are we hungry for love? Are you wearing a mask in society to show you are OK?
Hunger for the right love . Hunger for Gods love and that will fulfil all your needs .
Like in verse from proverbs 27.7 it says for the hungry even bitterness tastes sweet . If you hunger for Gods love , he will fill you constantly but you will never be full. In your trying bitter times his love will make those trials taste sweet . In the end victory is always his.
Looking for love in all the wrong places is what so many men do and land up in trouble , when all they need to do is to open the word and sit in Gods presence .
You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Prayer: let’s pray with Psalm 16 in mind
Psalm 16
Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge.
I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.”
I say of the holy people who are in the land,
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names on my lips.
LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Proverbs 27:23-24 Be sure you know the condition of your flocks,give careful attention to your herds;for riches do not endure forever,and a crown is not secure for all generations
Our children our are future . They carry the Barton ahead . So let’s continue to discipline them according to Gods instructions.Let them be taught of the importance of the Holy Spirit.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
Prayer Points:
Pray: (a) God increase or hunger to know you more , fill us with the Holy Spirt so that we can know your ways but never let’s us feel full.
(b) God we put the hungry in your hands , we pray for provisions both financially and materially for your missionaries and worker to eliminate the hunger of the poor and needy.
Prayer : Let’s pray gentle men to understand the joy and peace to hunger for the acceptance of God and help us not to take fro granted his grace
Pray :
Let’s pray that our children will continue living their lives with the Holy Spirt as their guide . May they understand the importance of devotion and aligning their spirit to the voice of of the Holy Spirit.
