1. Building on the mercy and grace of the Lord
Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
God changes disobedience to mercy an insight that mercy helps us learn to grow in the “direction of his intention “
As human fathers and leaders our grace is sometimes limited but our Father in heaven has unlimited grace and hence he perseveres with us to move in the “ direction of his intention”
Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

Romans 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
3. Humble service in the body of Christ
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Living in harmony and living against your ego
This was for the Roman’s but we all have a greedy king inside of us called the ego.
Prayer Points:
Prayer point: God help us to understand your mercies and grow away from disobedience that we may go in the “ direction of your intention” in our life’s journey.
Prayer point : thank you lord for our gifts help us reflect with in us on your gifts that we may be able to glorify you more
Prayer: God help me to walk in humility of your grace . I acknowledge the gifts you have given me and I pray that my ego will never take the upper hand in any of my decisions. Help me look at the world through your eyes .
