1. “Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven..” - (Matthew 6:9-10)
2. “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, - (Phil 3:20)
3. “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”- (Hebrew12:22-24)
God has called us to be His house( living Altars), Heaven’s gateways here on Earth. Altars are gateway that connects the physical realm to the spiritual.
Genesis 28:11-17- “ On reaching a certain place, he spent the night there because the sun had set. And taking one of the stones from that place, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. And Jacob had a dream about a ladder that rested on the earth with its top reaching up to heaven, and God’s angels were going up and down the ladder..”
There was no temple or church building in this picture, just a man with God on the side of the hill.- a place of divine intersection. Many years after we found this prophetic picture become clearer in the person of Jesus (Emmanuel). John 1:51- “And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

Prayer points 1.
Let’s give God thanks for the privilege of being His house. His gateway, and carriers of His presence here on earth.
Prayer point 2.
Gen28:17 “ This is none other than the house of God, the gate of Heaven” Lets ask God to bring us into this personal revelation and understanding. And that He would show us how to daily live as transition points to release His presence and grace to our world.
Prayer point 3.
Gen28:16 “Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”
The call to be God’s Altar or gateway comes with a responsibility. Let’s ask God for the grace to steward this calling upon our lives as God temples. That God will help us awake like Jacob
