I. The Mentality
Mark 1:15 – “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
> Understanding the urgency of time is crucial for the realisation of our destiny.
1. The kingdom of God is no longer a distant promise; it is present and accessible now.
2. But what is the kingdom of God? It is the sovereign rulership or governing authority of a King over His domain. This kingdom influences the territory with the King's personal will, purpose, and intent, resulting in a community of citizens who embody the King's culture, nature, and lifestyle.
Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
3. We are commanded to prioritise seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness above all else.
II. The Mind
Matthew 6:9-10 – “In this manner, therefore, pray: our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
4. As ambassadors of the kingdom, our primary mission is to promote and expand the kingdom we represent. This is accomplished by ensuring that God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven, recognising that divine power and authority are necessary to carry out God's will.
5. There is a direct connection between a kingdom and the will of its king, which must be enforced within the realm of his rule.
Prayer Point 1 - Total Dedication and Devotion
Father, I dedicate my life to You - spirit, soul, and body. Let my life be an offering and a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You. Renew my mind according to Your word that I may prove Your perfect will. In Jesus' Name.
III. The Might
Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Matthew 16:19 – “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 21:43 – “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.”
6. Power is essential to produce the fruits of the kingdom, particularly in life, ministry, and the marketplace.
Prayer Point 2 - Mindset
Father, I receive the grace to adopt the kingdom of God mindset - a perspective that aligns with Your vision. I also activate the authority and the keys of the kingdom of heaven that You have given me to rule and reign in life. In Jesus' Name.
IV. The Mandate
Matthew 24:14 – “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
7. As ambassadors of the kingdom, our mandate is to bear witness to the kingdom of God, living it out in our daily activities in life, ministry, and the marketplace.
Prayer Point 3 - The Holy Spirit
Father, without You, I can do nothing. I receive the Spirit’s empowerment to cultivate the kingdom mindset as I represent heaven on earth, manifesting Your rule and reign in ministry and the marketplace. In Jesus' Name.
