-David fears his life due to Saul’s jealousy 1Samuel 21:10-15
- David escapes to a place of refuge, the cave of Adullam
- David meets others and is introduced to the dreaded 3Ds suffered by all those in the cave.
1) Those in Distress
2) Those in Debt
3) Those Discontented
- David joins the crowded cave and is made the captain over the 3D sufferers.
Thank God for Verse 5
- God always allows His voice to be heard when we’re in a “3D” spot!
