HOPE DOESN'T MAKE ANYONE ASHAMED.

Content:

Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Jeremiah found himself amongst the exiles in Babylon. It was a season of anomie in the lives of the people.

They went through sorrow, anguish and pain. In the midst of all of these Jeremiah held on to hope. The book of Lamentations is not what you think.

Hope sprung eternal from a season of Lamentations.

Lamentations chapter 3 is loaded. It reminds me of the quote from Alexander Pope.

"Hope springs eternal in the human breast: Man never is, but always to be blest".

Alexander Pope.

Whatever you do from today and the rest of your life, please hold on to hope.

We are always reminded to hold on to hope, even when it seems exhausted. Abraham's life is a good example.

The exiles with Jeremiah gave up on hope, their hope became exhausted due to hardship, but within Jeremiah, hope sprung eternal and he triumphed against hopelessness.

Whatever you do from now, please pick up hope. Release yourself from the clutches of hopelessness.

Psalms 42:11 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

I perceived that Jeremiah reminded himself of the words of the psalmist.

Psalms 43:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Let the door of hope be opened unto us.

Hosea 2:14 "Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her.
Hosea 2:15 There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.

Let hope spring eternal in our families, communities, cities and Nations.
