1. Addressing those maintaining the covenants, altars and sacrifices to idol worship in your territory. Prophesy against these institutions. *1 Kings 18:22-24*
*1 Kings 13:1-3* -“And behold, a man of God went from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord, and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. 2 *Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord, and said, “O altar, altar! Thus says the Lord*: ‘Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.’ ” 3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”
*Judges 6:25* - “Now it came to pass the same night that the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and *tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside it; 26 and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement*, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.” 27 So Gideon took ten men from among his servants and did as the Lord had said to him.”

So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. _*Because of the Midianites*_, the children of Israel made for themselves *the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains*. Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat *under the terebinth tree* which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites.”
