Ephesians 4:11-12
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works
of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
Acts 20:28
Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS
The word of God emphasizes forgiveness as a key aspect of the Christian faith and belief. God is a merciful and forgiving God as we read in scripture in the Old and New Testament encouraging believers to seek forgiveness and extend it to others. Jesus Christ teaches the importance of forgiving others, note this is in the Lord's Prayer, we ask for forgiveness as they forgive those who trespass against them. Forgiveness promotes reconciliation, compassion, and the transformative power of God's grace.
Ephesians4:32
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Mark11:25
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
1John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Mathew 18:21-22
Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

1 Timothy 3:4
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect.
Colossians 3:19
Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Ephesians 5:25

Genesis 2:24

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

PRAYER FOR PROVISION
( financial breakthrough, jobs, properity for those that are in business )
As humans, we all have needs, at some point most of us have struggled between trusting God to provide, and burning ourselves out trying to make it happen ourselves and burning ourselves .
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus
Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore take no thought saying, what shall we eat or what shall we drink or wherewithal shall we be clothed
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.
Acts 14:17
And yet he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons
satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”
Psalms 146:7-9
He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners.
The Lord gives sight to the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down.
Deuteronomy 2:7
These forty years the Lord your God has been with you you have not lacked a thing.”
PRAYER FOR HEALING, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, GRIEF
You are not alone in your troubles
There are great men and women of God in the Bible that went through depression
Psalm 6:6-7
David writes: “I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.”
Psalm 13:2: “How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart everyday?”
Psalms 31:9 – 24,
he writes: “Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief. My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my bones grow weak.”
Elijah fell into despair and asked God to take his life:
1 Kings 19:4
But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. ‘I have had enough, Lord,’ he said. ‘Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.”
Job’s life is an example on human suffering:
Job addresses God directly, pouring out his heartache and sorrow, pleading for relief from his suffering. He describes his days as filled with hopelessness and worthlessness:
Job 11: 16
Therefore, I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul… I despise my life; I would not live forever. Let me alone; my days have no meaning.”
There were also women in the Bible that went through despair and hopelessness
We read the story of Naomi in the book of Ruth, Naomi’s story turns into one of Hope and redemption through the power of God
James 1:2-8
James writes: ‘Be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know that you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so that you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything. If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you… But when you ask…you must have faith… Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm. If you are that kind of person, you can’t make up your mind, and you surely can’t be trusted. So don’t expect the Lord to give you anything at all.’
There are 3 points that is highlighted in this passage
1.YOUR FAITH GROWS WHEN IT IS TESTED
You never know the strength of your anchor until you feel the blast of the storm
2.GOD WILL GIVE YOU WISDOM TO HANDLE THE TEST
He won’t answer all your whys, instead of questioning him we need to pray, Lord how do you want us to use this trials to develop spirituality, how can I operate with you to reap the benefits, what changes do you want in my life.
These are the questions God will answer.
3.WE MUST BE WILLING TO OBEY
Yes we can ask God for wisdom, but then we can also decide whether or not we will obey him.
If you are that kind of person don’t expect the Lord to give you anything at all.
When God gives you His wisdom your first response should be
Speak for your servant is listening
PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
Gods plan is always the best
Sometimes the process is painful and hard , but don’t forget that when God is silent he is doing something for you.
When you turn your worry into worship, God will turn your battles into Blessings.
God did not remove the Red Sea, he parted it.
God does not always remove your problems, but he will make a way to get through them.
