Content:

Have we let humanism invade our expressions of worship through our culture?
As God is not British, African or Chinese, Neither is He  Presbyterian,  Catholic, Baptist or Penticostal.
Therefore we need to worship in a manner that God considers His order, not what church or culture dictates.
God seeks those who will worship Him in
"In Spirit  & in Truth".
A heart that is bursting with adoration, appreatiation, thanksgiving & love of Jesus Christ.
There is a cry in Gods heart for us to be unhindered in our expression of worship..Not fearing what man would say or think about us..
People shout at footy games, yet
Why are Christians inhibited in church?
Romans 12 : 2
Don't  let the world squeeze you into it's  mould. -but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. That you may prove what is good & acceptable - the perfect will of God.

John 4: 23 - 24
God is looking - not man.
This is for God’s benefit.
True worship must worship God in SPIRIT & IN TRUTH.
NB: - GOD IS SPIRIT.
(not seen with the naked eye )
He is PNEUMA wind, air, breeze or breath.

Therefore the most effective & accepted worship must be done in the realm of the Spirit: FROM OUR SPIRITS ..

Worshiping God in Spirit: literally means from our Spirit.
When we  pray / sing in other tongues we are speaking straight to God from  Spirit to Spirit.
Our mind does not get in the way.
Our mind cannot worship God in spirit..
John 7; 37 , 38
Jesus said tongues are for the thirsty..
Are we thirsty to worship Him?
We are called to worship God from our spirits not from our head. Singing in tongues helps that process.
Cuts out the middle man - our head:
Matthew 15:8,9
Worship must be of the heart, singing in tongues can only be of the heart & not the mind.
Have we ever felt drawn to God through singing or speaking in tongues - our spirit touching God.
To stop would quench the Spirit, who longs to worship.
Acts 2: 11
The early church got the baptism in the Spirit ,
they let go & let God.
Spirit to Spirit.
Some thought they were drunk: the mind says don't  do it. Love for God says worship Him.
1 Corinthians 14:28
Paul basically said: If it is not a tongue to be interpreted then don't raise your voice above others but speak to yourself. He never said don't do it, but just speak to yourself & God.
He said "I pray in tongues more than you all".

Cornelius' mob interrupted the preacher
Acts 10: 44- 46
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.

Be being filled with the Holy Spirit :
EPHESIANS
5.18
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be ( being) filled with the Spirit; ( by) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

The Holy Spirit represents Power in God.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit & Power. The evidence = speaking in a heavenly language - tongues. It draws His presence which is Power.  It brings His presence into a meeting.
Forbid NOT to speak / sing in tongues.
2 Kings 3: 15
Music / worship released an annointing for Elisha to prophesy.

1 Samuel 16:23
Music has the ability to bring a release of the annointing & power of God.
1Corinthians 14:14,15
We will do both spirit & truth
When we pray in tongues our Spirit prays, when we sing in tongues, our spirit sings. Which brings revelation & the annointing in a manifest presence.
Worship opens us up & the Glory comes in.
Psalm 24: 1 - 10
The more I enter into God & open up to Him, the more His Glory flows into my life.
Jesus wants His glory manifest in every meeting. In order for this to happen : we must enter in unhindered.
2 Chronicles 7: 1-4
Solomon gave his best to God, which resulted in the Lords manifest presence being revealed.
The Glory of the Lord.

The more we give to God, the more we receive fro God.
Don't  let the world dictate our praise.
The devil is the God of this world... he doesn't want us to worship God...

From glory to Glory. Your will be done, Your Kingdom come.
 I say Amen.
And Hallelujah.
