THE RIGHT PLACE. Part 1
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
Acts 17:26
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.””
â€â€Genesis‬ â€12‬:â€1‬-â€3‬ â€NIV‬‬

• One of God’s primary purposes for our live is connected to being in the right place.
• Being in the right place at the right time is an important key to discover God’s will for your life.
• In Genesis 1 God created Adam in Genesis 2 God planted him in the garden.
• God gave Adam a place of employment before He gave him a wife.
Proper placement profoundly affects our future in the following ways:
1. It releases a supernatural provision.
“Depart from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
1 Kings 17:3-4
• Divine supply follows divine placement. If Elijah was another location the raven would not have fed him.
• Don’t fall in love with the method and forget God is your source.
• Then suddenly the brook will dry up and Elijah received instructions on the next move. 1 Kings 17:8 Then the word of the LORD came to him, “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”
• We need to have discernment of the next place.
• Let us Pray for the place.
“the Lord appeared to him at night and said: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.”
â€â€2 Chronicles‬ â€7‬:â€12‬ â€NIV‬‬

2. The right place provides a place of protection.
• There is protection in being in the right place.
• Dong stay too far from the body of Christ.
Psalms 91:1-2 & 4
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
4 He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Psalms 121:8
The LORD will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.
3. Being in the right place demands death to pride.
• Pride can be an obstacle blocking us from being in the right place.
• The example of Elijah being a great prophet but still had to go to a widow for provision.
• 1 Kings 17:9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”
4. The right place is often preceded by a season of discomfort.
• We don’t change place until the misery factor exceeds the fear factor.
• When the mother eagle wants her eagle to learn to fly she will tear up the nest. You will never fly when you are too comfortable.
• God’s way of making us love our sometimes is called discomfort.
5. The right place will releases the glory of God.
• In Exodus 31:6-11 God gave specific dimensions, colours , furniture placement and even specified the garment to be worn at the tabernacle. This resulted in the presence and Glory of God.
• Another example is the building of the temple by King Solomon 2 Chronicles 7:1-2
• As soon as Solomon finished his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’S house.
6. The right place will prevent exposure to sinful situations and temptation.
• Listening to the Lord voice and being in the right place will protect us from being in sinful situations.
• “In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem.”
• â€2 Samuel‬ â€11‬:â€1‬ â€NIV‬‬. https://bible.com/bible/111/2sa.11.1.NIV
7. Being in the right place will avoid future problems.
• Living within the proper placement of God can makes the difference between a life of blessings and life of sorrow.
“Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company:”
â€â€Genesis‬ â€13‬:â€10‬-â€11‬ â€NIV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/111/gen.13.10-11.NIV
“Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.”
â€â€Genesis‬ â€19‬:â€24‬-â€26‬ â€NIV‬‬
