Topic: TRANSFORMED MIND FOR TERRITORIAL TRANSFORMATION
Content:
Romans 12:1-2 - ‘I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.’
Recap on 5 Indispensable Keys to Lead an Extraordinary Life
A transformed mind validates:
1. Spiritual Identity (2 Peter 1:3-5)
2. Spirit-Consciousness (Romans 8:16)
3. Prophetic Predestination (Hebrews 10:7)
4. Superior Belief System (Mark 9:23)
5. Supremacy of the Word (John 1:1-5)
5 Key Elements of a Believer’s Spiritual Identity
1. The Triune Man
Genesis 1:26 pertains specifically to the creation of man’s spirit (and by extension, his mind)—the immaterial essence of his being—while Genesis 2:7 details the formation of his physical body from the dust of the ground.
Genesis 1:27-28 - ‘So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’
Genesis 3 - ‘The Fall’
2. The Divine Nature
2 Peter 1:3-5 - ‘As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.’
3. The Spiritual Blessing
Ephesians 1:3-6 - ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.’
4. Position and Authority
Through Christ, we have been “raised up together and made to sit together in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 2:6). This elevated position grants us authority over spiritual forces that seek to hinder our access to spiritual blessings. We are not powerless but equipped to enforce the victory of Christ.
5. Faith and Understanding God’s Will
Accessing and manifesting spiritual blessings hinges on faith, for “without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). Moreover, obedience to His revealed will is essential. As we grow in understanding, we align our lives with His purposes, allowing the treasures of heaven to flow into the physical realm.
