Proverbs 8 : wisdom is calling you
Wisdom is With God , fearing him is the start of our journey.
We are created in his own image and have been given the wisdom that is his.
Talk on our wisdom vs God’s wisdom
-the birth of Jesus vs IVF
Dividing the physical and the spirit
Proverbs 8:22-23
“The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,,
before his deeds of old;
I was formed long ages ago,
at the very beginning, when the world came to be.
Proverbs 8.24-33
Speaks how wisdom that God has given to us was there before every creation.
You were thought of and created before any creation .
Prayer : of adoration to our God .
We have a choice . That Choice to fall into temptation or to overcome it depends on the amount of wisdom you have in the Lord.
Proverbs 8:34-36
Blessed are those who listen to me,
watching daily at my doors,
waiting at my doorway.
For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the LORD.
But those who fail to find me harm themselves;
all who hate me love death.”
We were created before the world and have been imparted Godly wisdom before the beginning of time .
We were loved before sin came into the world and hence Our God will never let us Go.
2. Intercession to overcome temptation
Mathew 4:1-11
Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness
4:1-11pp — Mk 1:12,13; Lk 4:1-13
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”
Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
Discussion:
What are we battling with.
Lust
Greed-knowledge, wealth , power, security
Pride
Fear
The heavens rejoice when ever we squash the enemy’s temptation . Even when no one sees , heaven rejoices in our silent battle with the enemy.
Prayer :
Lets us intercede in prayer for each other to overcome the tempting prince.
Oh Lord take charge of our spirit that we will not crumble to the temptations of Satan.
Mathew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
3. Intercession for leaders
Jeremiah1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. ”
All of us are leaders one way or the other. You cannot run away from this responsibility.
The best advice we can ever get is in Matthew 7:12
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
You are a leader whether you like it or not. So pick up your staff and lead with word as your light and the Holy Spirt as your guide

Put their names on your lips and intercede for them in prayer that they will be guided by the Light of the word and the beckoning of the Holy Spirt to do what is intended of them for the completion of Gods work in their lives .
If they derail we pray for the almighty to put us and them back on track for the completion of his glorious work through them
