As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

A. TRUSTWORTHY- The heart of her husband safely trusts her;

The heart of her husband trusts in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of [honest] gain or need of [dishonest] spoil.
• Love and trust are closely connected in relationships. Trust is a fundamental aspect of love, as it allows individuals to feel secure, respected, and valued by their partner. Without trust, it's difficult for love to thrive.
• Trust involves believing in the reliability, truth, and strength of the other person, and it's essential for building and maintaining a healthy and loving relationship.
• When trust is present, love can grow and deepen, creating a strong and resilient bond between partners.
Prayer point:
Let us pray for trust to be strengthened, restored or healed in some cases. As the trust is restored the relationship (love) will be strengthened.
B. CARRIER OR BUSINESS- She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands.

She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.

• This speaks on the carrier or business our wives.
• It is obvious that many women in the modern world have to focus on carriers and family due to the shift of the roles in the society.
• Nowadays, women are not considered as housewives but have to build a career as well as raising a family.

She girds herself with strength [spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task] and makes her arms strong and firm.
Prayer point.
• Let us pray for the our wives wisdom to balance her carrier and family responsibilities.
• That her carrier or business will be successful in supporting her family.
C. SERVICE- she extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy.
She has no fear of winter for her household,
for everyone has warm clothes.

• This speaks of her service to her community. Looking beyond her family’s needs and supporting the poor.
She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.
Her husband is well known at the city gates,
where he sits with the other civic leaders.
• She is dressed in fine line and purple gown.
• Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red.
• The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition.
Prayer Point:
Pray that she will serve her community and not only look inward but reach out to others.
Pray that she will be clothed with fine linen and purple gown- royalty.
D. FAITH - She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
Proverbs 31:25-27
She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.
• She is built up in her faith and maturity.

Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]!
• She speaks wise words and gives instructions with kindness.
Proverbs 31:26-27 AMPC
She opens her mouth in skillful and godly Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness [giving counsel and instruction].
She looks well to how things go in her household, and the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she will not eat.
E. PRAISE HER
Proverbs 31:28-31
Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.
Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
Prayer point:
Let us pray and praise our wives and see the shift in the family.
