1. Biblical Analysis: Governments Under Christ vs. Satan

A human government reflects the beliefs and ideas of a particular group of people. Its role in governance is to shape public perception and advocate for its principles, presenting them as the optimal course of action for the nation or country. Through governance, these ideas and beliefs are proposed and implemented to guide society.

Matthew 4:17 - ‘From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

1 Corinthians 2:13-14 - ‘These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.’

Isaiah 9:6 - ‘For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’

Governments Reflecting Christ’s Rule
Governments that strive to uphold Christ’s attributes—justice, righteousness, wisdom, and peace—bring about flourishing societies. The Bible provides examples of such governance:

King David’s Rule (2 Samuel 8:15) – “So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered justice and equity to all his people.”
Though imperfect, David sought God’s guidance, ruled with justice, and prioritised worship and obedience to God.

When leaders seek God’s wisdom, protect the vulnerable, and promote righteousness, societies thrive.

Governments Reflecting Satan’s Rule
When leaders reject God’s wisdom and operate in deception, tyranny, and selfish ambition, they bring destruction. Examples include:

Pharaoh of Egypt (Exodus 1:8-22) – He enslaved Israel, killed infants, and resisted God’s authority until his kingdom was devastated.

King Ahab and Jezebel (1 Kings 21:25-26) – They promoted idolatry, murdered the innocent, and led Israel into destruction.

Governments that operate under deception, oppression, and rebellion against God ultimately face divine judgment.

2. Historical Analysis: Christ-like vs. Satanic Governance

Christ-Like Governance in History

The Rule of Alfred the Great (9th Century England)
A devout Christian king who promoted justice, education, and biblical law in governance.
Established fair legal systems and protected religious freedom.

The Abolition of Slavery (William Wilberforce, 19th Century)
Christian leaders like Wilberforce fought against injustice based on biblical values of human dignity.

Satanic-Like Governance in History

The Roman Empire’s Persecution of Christians
Nero, Domitian, and other emperors ruled with tyranny, killing Christians and promoting idolatry.

Nazi Germany (1933-1945)
Hitler’s rule was marked by deception, genocide, and rejection of biblical morality.
Millions were murdered under a totalitarian, anti-God ideology.

Communist Regimes (Soviet Union, China, etc.)

Atheistic governance led to mass oppression, persecution of religious groups, and millions of deaths (e.g., Stalin’s purges, Mao’s Cultural Revolution).

Prayer Points:

🔥Let’s Pray:
1. Pray for the elected representative of the Australian Christian Party. She will be obedient to the voice of Holy Spirit and submit to the agenda of the kingdom of God.

2. Unseat the citadel of deception, oppression, and corruption in our government, and that God will raise leaders who will be guided by divine wisdom, truth and justice.

3. Every attempt of the enemy to perpetuate chaos, hatred, bondage and wickedness is dismantled.

4. Leaders that seek to control through fear, coercion, force are silenced and that the peace, freedom, and stability will reign in our nations.
