FAITH, IDENTITY & COURAGE IN CHRIST
Content:
“Father, thank You for this new day. We commit this time to You. Speak to our hearts, strengthen our faith, and draw us closer to Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Romans 4:5 (GNB)
“But those who depend on faith, not on deeds, and who believe in the God who declares the guilty to be innocent, it is this faith that God takes into account in order to put them right with himself.”
We are not justified by our perfection, but by our faith. As men, we can carry guilt and the pressure to "do" more to earn God’s approval. But our identity is rooted in what God declares over us—not our performance.
Romans 5:3 (GNB)
“We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance.”
Hardships are not wasted. Endurance is forged in fire. God uses even our struggles to strengthen our character. What you're going through is shaping you for your calling.
Romans 8:1 (GNB)
“There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus.”
Shame and guilt have no place in the life of a man who belongs to Christ. This is your identity: forgiven, accepted, loved. Walk boldly in that freedom today.
Romans 8:28 (GNB)
“We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.”
God is working all things—even mistakes, delays, and pain—for your good. Stay aligned with His purpose. Trust the process.
Psalm 34:4 (GNB)
“I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me; he freed me from all my fears.”
Fear may knock, but prayer and his promises are key in locking it out. Whatever fear you're carrying today—submit it to the Lord in prayer. He answers.
Psalm 27:1–2 (GNB)
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid. When evil people attack me and try to kill me, they stumble and fall.”
You are not walking into the day alone. The Lord is your light, your defense. When the enemy comes at you—through people, thoughts, or situations—he will stumble and fall.
Isaiah 41:10 (GNB)
“Do not be afraid—I am with you! I am your God—let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you.”
God’s presence is your power. This is a divine promise. He will help you, strengthen you, and protect you. Walk in courage today.
